Attorney Fran Haasch Hello Everyone, Welcome to our special edition Harley-Davidson Cross Bones Giveaway newsletter. Thank you so much for coming out and making this one of the most memorable nights of my lifetime. The weather was absolutely beautiful and Bill Church from Quaker Steak told me that there were over 4000 bikes at The Lube!!!
I want to wish a very special congratulations to Wayne Grant, the lucky winner of our (first) motorcycle giveaway. Wayne lives in Pinellas Park and was just a phone call away after his name was picked by my father.
This night was very special to me on so many different levels. Not only was February 11th the night where I was able impart my gratitude to our motorcycle community, but it was also marked the 44th anniversary of my father arriving in the United States of America after leaving a war-torn Germany in search of a better life for him and his family. Wednesday was a true celebration of the American Dream. It was just a few years ago that Wayne (the winner of the motorcycle) was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and was only given two weeks to live. After 12 chemotherapy treatments and the fight of his life, he has recently had a cancer free PET scan and the prognosis looks great. (For any single women reading this, Wayne wanted me to mention that he needs a girlfriend to match his beautiful new bike.)
I have quite a list of people to thank for helping make our Giveaway such an extremely successful event: Bill Church and Quaker Steak and Lube for hosting the event, Ron and Debbie Galletti with Born To Ride Magazine and TV for helping promote the giveaway and the upcoming magazine and TV special, Gary Bang, Larry Stephens and the entire staff at Gulf Coast Harley-Davidson for being so accommodating through this entire production, Tony Cianci with Full Throttle and Valerie Smith with Rider Now Productions for covering the event, and the very capable Wendy Bob for doing such a great job emceeing in the absence of her dashingly handsome husband Radical Randy.
Most importantly, I want to extend my extreme heartfelt thanks to the people reading this email. Without you and your support over the last 9 years, none of this would have been possible. For that, I am eternally grateful.
